Operation Adaptation Coming to Concord House

Operation Adaptation is coming to I-94 between Milwaukee and Madison, filling the air with festive music, painting the landscape green and giving to charities for two days. The environment friendly organization is coming to the Concord House in Sullivan, WI.

Operating Adaptation is a special weekend-long concert assembled to promote and explore eco-friendly lifestyle alternative involving the following:
-2 indoor stages
-2 days/nights of music with 11 bands
-People-powered bike stage
-1 tree planted for every ticket sold (provided by Trees for the Future)
-Onsite parking and camping
-Environmentally friendly vendors
-Corn-based utensils and dishes
-Many more 'green' activities

The music will be festive, light show amazing, and the electricity will be made by the fans. The main stage is powered by a stationary bicycle pedaled by fans in the audience. How is electricity powered by the audience one might ponder?

The two indoor stages will feature some of the best U.S. and Canada roots music, jam bands, and bluegrass. The following groups will be playing throughout the two days:

- Willy Porter

- Chinese Fingertrap

- Fat Maw Ronney

- Stealin' Strings

- Groovation

- Family Groove Company

- Run Side Down

- Unity... the Band

- And many more

“Chinese Fingertrap’s music has an influence on the way the audience moves that they are simply puppeteers and the audience their puppets,” says disk jockey Nathan Coussens from KRUI Iowa City, IA.

For every one ticket sold, a tree will be planted by Trees for the Future. Gates open on April 18 at 4:30 and close on April 20 at noon. On site camping and parking is available at the Concord House.
